StandardVision’s Luma Canvas Receives Extraordinary Response at Vellum LA’s Color :: Field Opening Reception

This past Thursday, Vellum LA unveiled its permanent physical gallery space on Melrose, fully outfitted with StandardVision's museum-grade Luma Canvas displays, and opened Color :: Field, a group exhibition and online NFT auction in partnership with SuperRare. The response to our state-of-the-art Luma Canvases was overwhelming, and we were thrilled to share these unparalleled displays with the public and to give a unique physical presence to the stunning works in this exhibition.

The hundreds of visitors who attended the private reception were met with vivid and innovative artworks by Andy Gilmore, IX Shells, LIA, Zach Lieberman, Nicolas Sassoon, Alida Sun, Anne Vieux, and Zouassi. Showcased on state-of-the-art Luma Canvas displays, the exhibition provides a viewing experience unlike any other. As the official technology partner for Vellum LA, StandardVision has fully outfitted the physical gallery space with Luma Canvas displays which will showcase the artwork in this exhibition and beyond.

With over two decades of expertise in LED technology and digital art curation, StandardVision intentionally designed Luma Canvas with the highest regard for mastering color and luminosity. Immediately more vivid than the highest caliber of TV displays, Luma Canvas boasts resilient LED technology designed to operate 24/7. A visceral viewing experience unlike any other, encountering art on Luma Canvas is like experiencing the work for the first time.

Color :: Field will remain on view through January 16th, 2022 by appointment only.

For those interested in seeing Color :: Field before the end of the year, the gallery will be open for appointments Thursday through Sunday of this week and then closed until the new year.
