ABOUT RVSVR
Reality VS Virtual Reality is a multidisciplinary video collective & zine, curated by Chrissie Abbott & teachesofpeaches, made up of 25 international artists who are visually exploring what reality and virtual reality means to them.
“As society is moving into a highly digitized universe, we wanted to explore the idea of what expectations of reality are vs virtual reality. We are experiencing self-created virtual worlds where anyone can generate unique content that reinvents the idea of utopia. The lines are blurring of what is real and unreal. We created a printed publication and an online realm to document this.” - Chrissie Abbot & teachesofpeaches

Not On The Same Page by Kriz Tonian is an animated video depicting a “calming meditation space.”
Kristel 'kriztonian' Brin is a multimedia artist and director from the rad sands of sunny California. As a creator she is excited about the future & subcultures of art ,tech, fashion, exercise, VR/AR, and mashing it all together to build identities, communities, and moments that take you out of your comfort zone. Past collaborations include Adult Swim, MTV, Toyota, Electric Objects, Bjork, Samsung and Super Deluxe. In addition to her personal and commercial practice, she is a founding member of The Great Nordic Sword Fights and Ghosting TV, curiously experimental video collectives based in L.A and beyond the web.
Reality by Arnaud Laffond: “Virtual reality is a tool, I use an object to create my reality. This could be the opposite to draw from reality and to create virtual reality.”
Arnaud Laffond is a video artist based in Lyon, France whose work is characterized by the creation of virtual environments and materials generated by computer. The color, as the material brute, is numerically sculptured, treated and altered to be reborn in vibrating and bright architecture. His works are situated on the verge of science fiction, halfway between abstraction and the representationalism , utopia and dystopia, architecture and landscape.
Floral Enlightenment by teachesofpeaches x Chrissie Abbott is an exploration of the link between nature and technology. Floral Enlightenment was designed to take you to a world where nature is no longer organic and technology is the answer to life.
teachesofpeaches is a designer and artist based in Melbourne, Australia. Her work is developed through the belief that collaboration is the key to delving deeper into the unknown. Pushing the boundaries between design and art, her work is playful, vibrant and always emphasizes the element of color. She is founder of the online and print publication PITCH ZINE and has worked with clients such as G-Star RAW, Bailey Nelson, Electric Objects, Universal Music.
Chrissie Abbott is a designer, art director and artist from London. Abbott creates tangible versions of alternate realities, dreams of nature, and internal theories of the apocalypse by mixing the medias of collage, pen and ink, acrylic and silkscreen printing. Her drawings and animated films are vividly technicolor yet uniquely delicate in their use of pattern work and found images. Past clients include ASOS, Adidas, Nike and Vans.
