StandardVision Partners with Heart of Los Angeles for a Special Youth Artwork Showcase on the Facade at Kurve LA

In collaboration with the local nonprofit organization Heart of Los Angeles (HOLA), StandardVision recently featured a selection of youth artwork on the large-scale LED facades along Kurve LA in Los Angeles. The featured works were selected from the HOLA student archive to work in tandem with the unique LA landscape and to support the modern architecture of the building.

With the goal of helping the young people of Los Angeles overcome barriers through exceptional, free, and integrated programs, Heart of LA offers personalized guidance to the youth community of LA in a trusted and nurturing environment. HOLA challenges kids to think bigger about their futures and their potential and inspires them with possibility by creating opportunities through both programming and partnerships. HOLA’s visual arts program provides access to explore new mediums and styles with 100+ classes every year. From screenprinting to ceramics, creativity and artistic expression is both valued and cultivated at no cost to the students and their families.

About this recent feature on Kurve LA, HOLA’s Director of the Visual Arts program, Nara Hernandez, says, “Sharing student art in our neighborhood on the busiest street in Los Angeles…elevates students' creative voices and reminds the city that arts education is a vital part of our community. With a booming creative industry in Los Angeles it's wonderful to share the spotlight with youth and our next generation of creative leaders.”

As an LA-based multidisciplinary digital media studio, StandardVision is committed to leveraging our large-scale display facades across the city to amplify the work of young and emerging artists. StandardVision is honored to offer a platform for these talented young artists to share their work with the larger Los Angeles community, and to further expand upon the invaluable opportunities that Heart of LA provides to the youth of LA.

On November 5th, HOLA will be hosting the Los Angeles Choral Festival at their outdoor pavilion, with programming set to include the debut performance of the organization’s Intergenerational Choir. Bring a picnic basket, blanket, or beach chairs and enjoy the music at this free community concert from 3:30 - 5 PM.
