Turning a Corner in 2021: DTLA New Year’s Countdown Show at the Wilshire Grand Tower

As we reflect on a challenging year, we also look forward to 2021 with optimism for a better future. With this year’s fourth annual Wilshire Grand NYE “Tower of Light” Spectacular, we propose a sense of hope for our community. This event will also provide an accessible public occasion conducive to social distancing, visible anywhere with a clear view of the DTLA skyline.

The tower will begin glowing on the eve of December 31st in anticipation of its midnight lighting spectacular. At the stroke of midnight, the Wilshire Grand will become illuminated with a multitude of extravagant lighting choreographies.

StandardVision began designing the Wilshire Grand Tower lighting in 2012. In 2016, StandardVision installed the lights in tandem with the construction of the tower. When the property finally opened in 2017, StandardVision lit up the tower for the first time and has managed and operated the lighting ever since.
