StandardVision’s NYE Wilshire Grand Fourth Annual ‘Tower of Light’ Spectacular Recap

At the close of a year as challenging and tumultuous as 2020 was, StandardVision’s goal for this year’s annual New Year’s Eve lighting event on the Wilshire Grand Tower was to look forward to 2021 with optimism for a better future ahead of us.

Titled “Tower of Light,” our intention with this celebratory light show was to instill a sense of hope in our community while also providing an accessible public event conducive to social distancing, visible anywhere with a clear view of the DTLA skyline.

As the sun set on New Year’s Eve, the tower began glowing in anticipation of its midnight lighting spectacular. At the stroke of midnight, the Wilshire Grand became illuminated with a multitude of extravagant lighting choreographies.

The grandeur of the Wilshire Grand Center’s New Year’s Eve lighting was seen from a 15-mile radius surrounding Los Angeles and was photographed hundreds of times and shared across social media platforms, unifying our Los Angeles community in a safe and inspiring manner as we welcomed in 2021 together.
