StandardVision and LBA Realty Unveil 70-Foot Video Wall at One Culver

StandardVision is pleased to announce the unveiling of One Culver’s 70-foot video wall in Culver City, CA. The new display serves as an integrated interior-facing media experience designed to adapt to the natural light and activate the re-vamped atrium at the former Sony Studios.

Suspended above the main entrance and set against west-facing glass, the One Culver display represents StandardVision’s forward thinking design, as the panels were specifically feathered to allow natural light to permeate, resulting in the gradual softening of the display’s edges. Beyond its physical attributes, the display will exhibit motion art that represents the diverse array of artistic talents within Los Angeles, as well as its famous landscapes, and rich entertainment iconography.

Located in the heart of downtown Culver City at the former Sony Studios complex, One Culver underwent an exciting renovation led by world-renowned Gensler & Associates and OJB Landscape Architects to transform the iconic property into a premier mixed-use development. It defines the walkable urban experience with a site animated by state-of-the-art media walls, natural light, stunning architecture, and fluid indoor/outdoor spaces that bring people together to collaborate and innovate.

LBA Realty subcontracted StandardVision to design, manufacture, install, and manage content for the media display at One Culver. StandardVision partnered with AV systems expert, Sybatek, to develop a custom tablet control system for audio implementation and user friendly input switching, which will allow for seamless integration of motion content.

"We are proud to work with LBA Realty to further bring to life the new atrium at One Culver," said StandardVision CEO, Adrian Velicescu. “Together with the architects, consultants and artists, we uniquely designed this display to seamlessly integrate nature with digital to provide an enhanced visitor and resident experience. The heart of the display is its artistic content, and we look forward to working with local artists to develop engaging and inspiring programs.”
