An Immersive Digital Display Experience
In collaboration with architect AC Martin, Turner Construction, and art consultants Dyson & Womack, StandardVision designed a colossal digital 4K canvas for the Natural Resources Headquarters Building in Sacramento, CA to complement the double-height lobby and create a sense of place.
The California Natural Resources Agency engaged StandardVision to create a visually stunning interior lobby and culturally enriched, contemporary workplace experience.
Opportunity: The challenge presented was to seamlessly integrate a colossal digital display into the lobby's unique double-height architecture while facilitating a visually striking program of civic messaging and culturally relevant artwork.
Solution: StandardVision designed a custom, ultra-fine pitch digital display to ensure a harmonious integration with the lobby's architecture. The display features razor-thin depth and a specialized mounting system which adheres to ADA standards. In support of solidifying the iconic display as a platform built for the public, StandardVision implemented its proprietary content management system SVRunner to facilitate dynamic transitions to seamlessly move through a range of client assets, from civic messaging and branded experiences, to a curated art program inspired by California landscapes.
