Natural Resources Headquarters

Where Technology Meets Art in Public Spaces

StandardVision, in partnership with AC Martin, Turner Construction, and Dyson & Womack, created a striking digital canvas in the lobby of the new Natural Resources Headquarters Building in Sacramento, CA. The monumental 4K facade was designed to blend effortlessly with the double-height lobby and hosts a curated public art program by Dyson & Womack for the California Natural Resources Agency.

Merging Form and Function with Integrated Displays

Aiming for seamless architectural integration, StandardVision and architect AC Martin delivered a custom ultra-fine pitch digital display for the lobby, featuring a slim profile and mounting design. This not only achieved ADA compliance but also enhanced the display's durability and aesthetic integration with the building facade.

A Unique Civic Art Program, Powered by SVRunner

To establish the display as a public-centric platform, StandardVision integrated its advanced SVRunner content management system, enabling responsive and dynamic transitions across various client assets. The software supports diverse content, from civic messages to a digital art program showcasing California artists, offering unique experiences with each visit.

For the unveiling of the lobby display, StandardVision curated a vibrant collection of nature-inspired artwork by both California-based and international artists, spanning video art, mixed media, and 3D animation, highlighting the display's versatility and impact.
