Eighty Meters Around the World

Renowned artist Jenny Holzer engaged StandardVision to develop the hardware and design software with an around-the-clock real-time FX engine for her 300ft long permanent art installation in the Hamad International Airport. StandardVision worked with Holzer to provide in-person hardware and software mock-ups and onsite performance tests as well as translator support for the four international languages utilized for the conceptual project. The result is a communicative beacon that directly speaks to thousands of global travelers daily while expressing the artist’s practice at a scale not possible within a museum setting.
